Installation of a VEGA wash basin with a mobile trolley for a client in Turin who works in the flexographic and rotary printing industry.

What washing issue did we resolve with our system?

The client was unable to satisfactorily clean the ink trays of the inking groups. This was partly because they did not clean them immediately after use, as often happens – the ink hardens and becomes more difficult to clean. Additionally, the traditional technology of fixed-nozzle spray wash basins was not up to par. The client compensated for these shortcomings by extending the washing cycles excessively.

We replaced the old wash basin with the VEGA basin with a mobile washing trolley, which combines the chemical effect of the solvent with the mechanical effect of the moving jet. This technology allowed the client to perform washes to full satisfaction in cycle times that are around 20 minutes.
